Project: Comprehensive Downsizing & Remodel Prep for Family
in Yardley, PA

  • The Strategy: For this 3,000-square-foot structural remodel, I co-managed a six-month downsizing and archival process of the entire household. Using my background in visual merchandising, In addition to establishing a storage system for home goods, I designed a "Basement Boutique" - a temporary, retail-inspired closet system that provided the clients with daily accessibility to their wardrobe while their primary living spaces were under construction.

  • The Narrative: Preparing for a major renovation requires a deep reflection on forty years of accumulated history. My role was to co-manage the monumental task of downsizing decades of possessions with the client while establishing a functional "holding pattern" for the family. In addition to creating a high-volume archival system of labeled bins and boxes, I built a "Pop-Up" wardrobe environment in the basement. This system treated daily essentials with the same care as a retail floor, ensuring the family felt settled and organized even amidst the chaos of a full-scale remodel.
