THE CLARITY NARRATIVE
Project: Home & Professional Space Transformation
for Retired Teacher in New Hope, PA
The Strategy: High-transparency organization in the kitchen, pantry, master vanity and garden shed to prevent over-buying, paired with a visual "zoning" of the first floor to establish clear boundaries between professional life and private living.
In a home where compulsive shopping had led to overwhelming disarray, the goal of this three-month project was to uncover both physical surfaces and financial clarity. By addressing "inventory amnesia" - the cycle of repurchasing items that were lost in the chaos - we implemented intuitive, high-visibility systems that allowed the client to finally see what she owned. The transformation culminated in the reclamation of a dedicated professional workspace, allowing her to resume her tutoring practice in an environment that reflects her expertise rather than her overwhelm.
”You helped me see my home, and my spending, in a way I never could before. Now I can actually find what I need - and it’s a wonderful kind of weird." - EM, New Hope, PA
