THE PASTORAL EDIT
Project: Operational Systems for a Multi-Structure Estate
in New Hope, PA
· The Strategy: To establish simple systems for an expansive 8,000-square-foot multi-structure estate. With an active equine rescue and a rotating cast of service providers and contractors, efficiency and ease were the priorities. Wrapping up a three-year remodel, the “on top of it” client was ready for her home to become the sanctuary she had designed it to be. That included initiating function to support the form, executing a reset of the primary closets and high-volume laundry zones.
· The Narrative: For a bustling family home in the final stages of a remodel, alleviating the systems burden from the homeowner was my top priority. By incorporating intuitive visual systems and giving items a permanent address, I ensured the internal flow supported a complex construction transition into a curated, peaceful estate.
