THE HIGH VOLUME RESET
Project: Streamlining Daily Flow for a Family of Seven
in Pipersville, PA
The Strategy: For this 8,000-square-foot estate housing a family of seven, I executed a six-day "rapid response" to eliminate daily bottlenecks. My strategy focused on high-activity zones - the mudroom, hallway closets, and primary basement thoroughfares -standardizing storage to create a functional language that the entire family can intuitively maintain.
The Narrative: Three years post-move, this residence has unpacked boxes and bottlenecks when it came to storage of homegoods and outdoor gear. I implemented a categorization overhaul across the main floor and basement, establishing thematic "hubs" for daily gear, linens, overstock, hosting essentials and toys. By analyzing the family’s movement patterns and frustration points, I replaced the disarray with streamlined passages. The result is a home that finally keeps pace with its inhabitants, offering a calm, organized foundation for a complex family schedule.
