THE HIGH VOLUME RESET
Project: Streamlining the daily flow for a family home of seven
in Pipersville, PA
The Strategy: Given the aggressive six-day timeline and the high volume of a seven-person family, I was asked to focus on high-accessibility zones - closets, the basement and its stairway, and the mudroom - to eliminate daily bottlenecks. By standardizing storage, I created a cohesive visual and functional language that the entire family can intuitively maintain.
After three years in their new home and no organizational systems, this project required a rapid strategy to establish order. By analyzing the family's unique active areas, I implemented high-capacity systems for daily gear, linens, and overstock on the main floor. The result is a home that keeps pace with its inhabitants, turning chaotic high traffic zones into streamlined passages of calm.
